yeah i thought the tracks would be bad from the rateyourmusic.com ratings, but turns out they're mostly incredible. i've come to thee conclusion that rym doesn't understand electronic music.

Yeah Willie, it so is.

Are they received badly at RYM Animals? Unbelievable. The tracks I've heard so far were amazing. Can't wait for that 7CD compilation album haha!

Most of what I've checked so far rules incredibly hard.

I know right!? Totally insane. And so many of these tracks are fantastic. I've added some YouTube links to some of my faves so far. Great collabs too.

Seeing Underworld live is still such a perfect night. Just saw them in Amsterdam, playing many DRIFT highlights and some golden oldies (Juanita ♥, King Of Snake, Moaner, Dark Train, Jumbo, Rez-Cowgirl, Born Slippy-Nuxx...)

So cool. Want to see them again already.

But seriously, every hair stood on end when that perfect perfect perfect guitar line in Juanita blasted through the venue.

I was very happy to see the whole hall go berserk on Jumbo of all tracks. Of course the crowd was very heterogeneous age-wise, and newer and older material was received with equal enthusiasm. They played for well over two hours, no single moment was dull.

And of course Born Slippy is an experience on another level, still with the all-colours-of-the-rainbow laser and light frenzy and that iconic beat and synth line.

Oh yeah, great decision.

We still need to review dubnobass and Beaucoup Fish. We could bump them all day and be happy. It would be nice.
