If Immolation isn't considered tech death at all, then this is my first tech death band I've enjoyed. Necrophagist is alright, but this is more than just sweeps.

Way more than just sweeps. Its freaking monolithic. Glorious, I can't wait to listen to it tripping, that'll be magical.

Well worth the bump
Band hasn't done anything that hasn't impressed me thus far

You all laugh now but just you wait....
But seriously, this isn't anything super complicated or over the top. At times, I feel as if I can't fucking breathe listening to this. Some of the ideas on here are so off the wall, I just don't know what to make of them. It's as if Lemay is lost in his own brilliance. He had the formula down pat on From Wisdom to Hate but it seems like he's taken a step back to Obscura which for the most part is the weirdest dm in existence. I like it but I'm not going to pretend to think for a second that Colored Sands is close to something I can instantly enjoy when I pop it on. I really struggle with describing how I should appreciate it.

ahhh man that sucks, I just get lost in the riffs...so many awesome riffs.
I find a song that breathes really well is enemies of compassion, starts off insane, calms down, goes insane again, then the entire sequence starting at 4:00 is just so majestic (wish it'd have been longer)
