I dunno, I kind of the like the singles I've heard from this... even if their choruses have the exact same melody...

Okay, I really like 50 Ways to Say Goodbye after a few times hearing it on the radio. It's the only song on the radio I can stand right now, other than Somebody That I Used to Know, which I'm somehow still not tired of.

I didn't love the last CD as compared to 'For me, it's you'. But I had to admit that 'Soul Sister' was at least a clever song and there cant be any debate about the commercial success of it.
'California 37' is all of that and less. It's the most disappointing CD that I've purchased in... well..... ever.
Abysmal, Attrocious, Bad, Boring, Crappy, Crud, Dumb, Dreadful.... shall I go on through the alphabet?

Please don't. You already misspelled a word before you even got to 'B'.

It's good that in general this site reviews music from a harsh skeptic third person perspective, however, i can't help but sense a great deal of acrimony from this review. In no way am i defending train or adding to the peevish bashing but i must say this: train is doing what they've always done, "drops of jupiter" wasn't exactly branching out from mainstream nor were any songs from preceding or following albums. With time, the parameters of mainstream changed and train's sound modified to move with it. And i know that my next comment is going to get some hate but i cant exactly find a reviewer credible if they criticize train for mainstream pop...and the stroke anberlin d**ks as if they weren't doing the same thing in the alternative genre.

I... actually agree

Dafuq. Drive by is the worst song recorded ever.
Those lyrics oh my gooooooood.
When you move me everything is groovy
Groovy? Srsly?
On the other side of a street I knew
Stood a girl that looked like you
I guess thats deja vu
No. That's not what a deja vu is.
Hefty bag to hold my love
A hefty bag to hold your love? Yeah and hefty back to hold this piece of a shit band, cuz it's going in the trash can where it fucking belongs.

It's a train wreck... Their name is 'Train'. I get it! That's a good one. My knee is sore from all the slapping.

Help me, help me, I no good at goodbyes. Worst song ever? Lol. Rivals "Boys Round Here" by Blake Shelton
|

50 ways to goodbye is impressive
the beginning rips off of shakira's hips don't lie
the verses rip off of phantom of the opera
and the chorus rips off a song right on this album (drive by!)
i may have made this comment before
