Shane has even stated that he doesn't like this album that much, and I straight up just don't get it.

yeah wtf this is like top 3 silverstein at least
maybe its because its not as like conceptual as the albums around it? idk

Indeed, Shane loves his concept albums.
The songs on this album were written over a span of two years, whereas most if not all of their other albums were written in a short span of time.
Edit: Just realized I said this on the last page. Whoops.

Dancing on my Grave might be the nuttiest Silverstein song.

I should go through this again. Every so often I find myself appreciating more of Silverstein's music that I didn't think much of initially

Yesterday at discord I had to choose the album as the Role.
I struggled between Discovering the Waterfront and Rescue. But since I made up Discovering the Waterfront in 2009, and I've been following Rescue pretty well throughout its release, I have a deep affinity for Rescue. it is my favorite.
Replace You was my favortite on this. not the slow acoustic version. and Burning Hearts. However, The Artist is the most durable.
this album is a milestone in my heart. I used to listen to them over and over again for many nights, memorizing all the lyrics.

And when I hurt people who care about me, I find Burning Hearts and sing along with "Why we always hurt the ones we love, can burning hearts still keep us strong?"
I have lots of attachment to this song. seriously!

yea im rippin through it now and its still dope. heavier jams all kick ass and the pop punky tracks back themselves up w fairly strong hooks, and its highs are some of their best ever. i always point to the artist off this but medication is not too far behind it. reallly strong opener
admittedly loses its steam around the closing stretch bar replace you but imo even at their best they always had a few skips per album except for maybe dtw. i love me some wind shifts and think its better than this but even that has like 2 cuts ive never rlly vibed with

The heavier bits are some of the best shit they’ve done imo. Medication is amazing. I love Forget Your Heart. The whole album is memories.
