Yeah its kind of wierd to think of a Burzum album being underrated but on here it is. I wish I listened to this more before I made my year end list.

Same here. It's always good when I give it a listen, but it's definitely not too often.

This album is way, way too repetitive. I'm sorry, but I find this is a chore to listen too at times due to the repetition without anything changing it up (see the closing track). I think I'd like it more if there was more ambience involved.

Yeah but his other albums were way better than this one I think. The vocals were better and the ambience elevated them to another level. This feels kind of recycled and boring to me tbh.

So the issue doesn't lie in the repetitiveness then, does it? It's his age and songwriting that have created problems for you.

Well it is also too repetitive. His older albums may technically have been just as repetitive, but they certainly didn't feel that way.

They didn't feel that way because the songwriting was better. It doesn't really have anything to do with the repetitive nature of his music.

btw, "Glemselens Elv" is one of his best tracks, and the best track here. I hope you can agree with that statement.
