i read somewhere that the bass tracks on here were actually recorded on a guitar with a pitch plug-in.
i like the under-produced feel of this album. way better than the overproduced pieces of overtly compressed audio crud that a lot of bands seem to favor nowadays.

its not underproduced in a good way. its underproduced by someone who was trying to overproduce. so in the end it sounds kind of amateur. good underproduced sounds gritty, raw, natural. good album though.

I don't understand how production matters that much to you kids. I mean seriously, do you not listen to what they're actually doing as opposed to all the technical post recording shenanigans? I just find it amazing that people can disregard an album based on the production alone, reminds me of this doofus wo told me he liked Whitechapel solely because of how well produced it was. Ugh

i mean, i like this a lot. the production just holds it back from being amazing. if it had similar production to the newest scale the summit, i'd probably like this more. would probably bump it to a 4.
