So, what did Stevie do with this album? Oh nothing really, he just rejuvanted an entire genre of music and made the guitar popular again when the current favorite choice of instrument at the time was the synthesizer making crappy electronic beats and people like Michael Jackson were ruling the charts.



Shall we start with the opening track? "Love Struck Baby" is definitely very 1950's rock and roll sounding, but there's something about Stevie's voice and that guitar tone that gives this so much more energy and feeling than Chuck Berry ever could bring to the table.
