"As Michael Jordan and these gushing comments teach us, this album is shit musically, and the only reason people pretend it's good is because of their own personal meanings they ascribe to it because of the lyrics. If this album wasn't about a failed relationship it's average rating would be at least two points lower."
lol no, are you kidding me? music fucking rules! it's chaotic, but it's not just for the sake of it, songwriting is brilliant and everything is tied together so well. riffs are original and consistently awesome, and drums fucking obliterate everything. songs are really varied, yet they flow perfectly. the amount of sheer energy and intensity is (almost) unmatched in the genre. you probably don't even like this type of metalcore, because if you did you'd see how ~perfect~ it is. and even then you'd at least appreciate that beautiful closer. lyrics just make that 0.5 difference from 5/5 to the best album ever. ok I'm done with fanboying now, sorry everyone.

@former discussion
i have a bad tinnitus for about 4 years now and it took me around one year to accept that it's part of my life now. i barely listened to any music in that period. now music is one of the biggest parts of my life and im thankful that i can again enjoy music and life in general to its fullest with my tinnitus. it's really rare that it bugs me nowadays.
its about 80 decibel loud btw.

i have mild tinnitus...it seems to be getting quieter or i'm just used to it by now (the more logical option)

if the tinnitus is older than half a year its brain-made anyway. so there is no distinction between getting used to it or it getting quieter ;)

damn Flug, 80 dB is loud af. I'm glad you're handling it well tho

yeah you know its pretty hard to measure that tbh. its comparatively loud when you hear nothing else but it quickly fades away when i'm listening to music or take any other noise really. as i said, its brain-made, not really following the rules of physics there.

ye. if i'm in a small room with no noise it can get pretty unbearable

that's interesting. so is it hard to fall asleep then? I'm guessing you just get used to it
|

Album Rating: 4.5
sleeping is ok because if i open a window or turn a fan on or something, the ambient noise makes it manageable.

it was hard to get to sleep at the beginning but you get used to just ignore it and you're fine pretty much.

I have some moderately annoying tinnitus. It's not the worst thing ever but I still wish I didn't have it.
