I get that, Citadel is basically 3 very long songs, yet for me every single second on this is a hit, whereas I'm not a big fan of Urn prt. 2, and to a lesser extent part 1 aswell, although I get what they where going for there. This might be my favorite album of all time though, so I'm biased as fuck lol. I have a unexplainable and unhealthy love for this album that I can't explain.

Oh I get the feeling, trust me. I think it's more cohesive of a vision on Urn compared to this direction here which feels more explosive, if that makes any sense? And I'm personally biased towards "Eyrie" lol, that track is gorgeous.

Obviously I don't dislike this though, either.

Yeah I get what you mean. Can't wait for the new one. And yes, Eyrie is a beauty, by far my favorite from Urn

Was out on a walk and climbing a hill, climax hit at the top while the sun was shining. I ascended into the clouds lol

Can't get on board with this band. Cleans and growls sound so grating. Ruins it all for me.

That's ok Observer. But beware, they're called Ne Obliviscaris for a reason. I hope you like Queennsryche's The Warning at least cos if you don't, probably we will be the observers anytime soon...

Pika can be summoned for love too. But you need more MP for that.

I do think I have a very different way of rating things than most people do though. A notable part of my score consists of 'how well does it achieve what it tries to'. Even if I hate it, I could never 1 it if it achieves what it goes for. I had that with Daughters 'You Won't Get What You Want'. Had almost no enjoyment out of it but does what it does so well that I couldn't go lower than a 2/2.5 for it.

The 'awesome' might bit stretching it still but I'm doing my best, thank you! Going to be working more over the summer once school goes on break so we'll see.

I might owe this a revisit, remember digging certain aspects of their sound.

Yeah, that's the difference between us, poobro. I rate solely based on enjoyment.
