Symbolic is the kind of record that clicks immediately because it is so song-driven, but i for one love me Leprosy much more. If you maybe took more of a step into the Leprosy (and heavier stuff) direction, suddenly 2nd wave bm may not seem so harsh for you.

Leprosy was a pretty good listen. not my favorite. and i'm willing to wager this might be the exception. especially as the BM half of this record was less annoying than the ambient side, which is not something i thought i'd be saying. kinda expected the other way around. too bad varg had to make one melody with no alterations last 25 minutes.

god as much as i hate kanye as a person at this point, i'm sorry, 808s was a great album. i just have his shit locally these days so he doesn't earn a cent off me, and i haven't listened to anything post-donda 1.
