they're probably the closest thing to accessible that converge has yeah, unless you just went through a bitter breakup in which case this is the most accessible and if you aren't listening to it right now you're fucking up.

Idk, the early stuff is pretty accessible too. You like Slayer? Then you will like Converge's first couple albums. The newer stuff is definitely easier on the ears as well (also they slay), but I generally think it's better to start from the beginning so you can appreciate the band's progression they way it actually played out.

okay with a band like converge even if you look at the ratings you'll kinda know halo isn't their best/ and you'll know how well liked everything else is.

i mean it can happen but usually it's best for bands with really consistent discogs so you don't just end up listening to a bunch of filler albums. it depends on the band
