Nearly the weekend now anyway. Friday tomorrow. Hang in there, pal!

Remember Beyonce ads for DS Lite? She needs to bring that energy to her music. Make a chip tunes Beyonce album.
8-Bit Beyonce or something. None of this Levi Jeans and cowboy stuff.

I have had so many L takes and thought the same thing before. Not a big deal. Weekend is almost here!

We all do. We're only human in the end.
I know why I like the music that I like, so I'm passionate about it to that end. People who listen to stuff I don't, like Mumford and Sons have their own reasons, too.
Interestingly like, while some people may be happy to stay within the Top 40 and mainstream, you'll still find people who seek out lesser known and independent music are also subject to trends or dependent on popular word of mouth in independent spaces to steer who and what they listen to, also.
Basically that bit about Ryan liking Smokey Robinson in The Office.

Sorry vult I didn't mean that in a shady way, just that on websites like these we tend to be an echo chamber

this feels like a corporate made ai album that tries to appeal to every popular subgenre in mainstream music

To each their own, I think it's very good apart from like 4-5 songs she could have cut
I really enjoy how playful it is, it's just a fun listen, she sounds excellent and the production is excellent

I finally got to spin some of this and damn the first 10 tracks are a slog to get through - Beyoncé sounds great but the songs are so drab and lifeless. Instrumentally almost nothing I can remember as a highlight besides it not being completely digital.
16 Carriages was good, everything else is pretty forgettable.

Bodyguard and Ya Ya are two of her best songs ever not even joking

I haven't heard it yet but I am interested in the Rhiannon Giddens feature.
I've been just listening to other stuff but I'd like to make some time this weekend to sit down and give it a spin.

a lot of really good stuff here, but bloated and scattershot at times
Ya Ya is like one of THE quintessential beyoncé songs

This is one step closer to the Beyonce/Kid Rock collab that is the last hope for America's survival so it's a win in my book

I've never liked Beyonce
I will crawl back into my shame hole now

My little sister insisted on us listening to this on a recent drive and I was not impressed, granted I also am not a fan of Beyonce so this was destined to flop for me.

Only listened to the "Jolene" cover, because I love the original, and it's so sub-par.
The song was written for a female white dixie vocalist like Parton, period.
Sometimes, people gotta to acknowledge beforehand, that everything is not for anyone.

Just a big money grab for Shitoncè.
