from there go forward or backward depending on whether you want the poppier stuff or the punkier stuff, but i think its all great outside of this addiction/my shame is true which have their moments but are largely pretty patchy and inconsistent

From reading the comments here, it looks like I'm the only one who thinks "Crimson" and "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" are their best albums. Their new one is good so far, will be giving it a few more spins before rating.

micf was my first trio so it was my favorite for a while until i got really into good mourning. brilliant album. i've got some tracklisting issues with crimson but for the most part i love that record too
only just noticed how sick dan's playing is during his bridge on shake with me since i've just been so blown away by his amazing amazing vocal line there lol

Totally middle of the road, for me. Some good songs, some awful songs. One thing’s for sure: the lyrics are ALWAYS atrocious. This album doesn’t sound nearly as inspired or fresh as I was hoping based on the hype

From Here to Infirmary, Good Mourning, and Crimson are the ultimate trilogy. Each album seperately is a 4.0 to 4.5 but when you combine them it turns into a 5/5

good mourning is already mostly heat all the way through as is ngl. such a special album. wish i dug infirmary more these days but its still like a 4. prob matts worst set pre agony and a terrible prod job but dan dropping his first full on collection of classics still has me jamming it a good bit

MCIF is my favourite of the first 3 these days, not counting s/t. the emo and post-hardcore vibes of it are hard

Let’s not forget remains… best b side album out there
