Peggy’s production, you mean? The philosophy feels like 2020s Neptunes to me: making Art out of Crap without deprecating the Art of the Crap. been banging this fs

Nah I mean the way Danny’s vocals are produced sounded crap until my ears adjusted to the madness here

Peggy on fire throughout with the beats no doubt

Also, hearing Danny shout CHECK at the start of songs had never not made me smile

oh yah yah I still have to work thru that element lol. I’m unusually attuned to the project of “damage control” w/ Peggy, that anything I bristle at initially will surely reveal itself to be consonant with some grand aesthetic project that the stuff I like/love is also attributable to. We’ll see! He’s gotten me b4 this way…

It’s be so psychologically powerful for me if he went back to saying the number 30 all the time as a 42 year old

at this point I'm pretty confident this is one of the best rap albums I've ever heard. I actually don't know if there's ever been an album in my entire life that I listened to so much in such a short span of time after it came out. maybe the last Sweet Trip?

feel like we haven't gotten this danny since at least old if not xxx. atrocity exhibition is great and uknowhatimsayin is alright, but the former is a bit more serious and the latter kinda has that elder statesman gimmick going on. feel like this is the first time he's really let loose with no constraints in a while (well besides the mix depending on who you ask).

One thing that’s for sure in Danny’s career is for someone with such a distinctive unusual style he’s always had absolute top tier production

If i remember correctly he basically made no money from Atrocity Exhibition because of how many samples he had to clear lmao

i fucking hate all jpeg projects, every single one. I only listened a bit to this because of danny. But man this peggy dude is a bitch.
i'm a peggy hater 100%. i hate for fun, i hate for free. i hate for no other reason than hate itself. i hate consciously and i hate continuously.
