also "i belong in your arms" by chairlift is better than any caroline polachek song even though I think that song has 12/10 potential and is more like an 8/10

I don't think she does really. She has an insane voice. I mentioned this but weirdly enough she has the same vocal coach as Julia Kwamya--but Julia got pancaked by a car in 2019 and was in the hospital for months. What Caroline need a coach for bro

looked up the first track and it's only one of three written by some other people than Polachek and Harle (my three favs all are) and the two writers both have a bunch of other bad songs to their name. chalk up another win for auteurism
