Yeah better than Omens, although Omens had some fantastic moments

Ok... This is absolutely fantastic! It could very well end up being my AOTY. The flow and overall cohesion is top notch. This band GOATed really hard with this.

An impressive return to form retaining the good elements of the Omen era.

I must have to give this a few more spins. Feels like Elder Lite. A lot of meandering...

This album is really cool, I just don't know if I'm going to have time to dig into as much as I would like before my end of the year list.

This seems quite patchy again, I think they started to lose their footing a bit after Lore - too many ideas but not really linking them together into cohesive song structures. Some nice moments in each song, but it's kind of neither satisfying as RIFFS or satisfying as PROG.

I find it satisfying as both. There’s actually very little fat in these songs, they just organically flow from one section to the next in a way that few other bands are capable of. The vocal improvement is a big bonus, too.

Reflections is an untouchable banger of an album. This one is a little softer, but still has its epic moments

The album cover is obviously a toilet showing the result of a seriously spicy Indian dinner. Surprisingly good album with some Floydian goodness.

I didn't think they would gel the way they did during Lore ever again. But holy hell. I think we got ourselves a classic here. I hated the direction they took after listening to Omens. But if Omens is what was needed to get them to this point, all worth it.

This is incredible.

surpasses RoaFW and the harmonies and flow are delicious. Elder can do no wrong. One of the few bands that can produce pure bliss.

It's a great album, but they've done better. So to me, this comes closer to 3.5 than to 4.0.

It would be cool if these guys respected the actually good band Elder and changed their name
