Damn... Now I have another top 10 albums of the year contender.

not as good as undying light, mainly because i don't vibe with the very techy songwriting and the vocals less, but its definitely the best they sounded to me in this style.

| |
Flug that is a very unpopular opinion but I commend you for sticking to it. I guess Undying Light really clicked with some specific people.

I don't think Undying Light is awful, it's just less interesting and special to me than this or Flesh Prevails. Also the vocals suck but at least they canned that guy. If that same album had come from another band I probably wouldn't mind it as much, but there's just so little Fallujah identity in it for me.

i love the post metal vocals on undying light

The bass on this album is ridiculous.

Ugh, this is so much better than their last borefest. And this might be their best production job so far.

Been friends with the new vocalist on facebook for years because we're in a few similar music groups and have commented on each others shit about music we enjoy, and I've been following his other projects where he mostly plays guitar, I've always thought of him as a (fantastic) guitarist who also does some vocals, so seeing him kill it as lead vocalist in this band and how well he's been received is pretty awesome.
Worth checking out his project Archaeologist.

Everything about this strikes me as average and I really dont wanna say that cause Fallujah is one of my favorite bands. Riffs are dime a dozen from them and the same ideas are recycled on here ad nauseum, the vocals are extremely middling, his lows are extremely meh, and his mids are simply fine, nothing more. I know this album has a really great bassist on it but he barely stands out in any of the tracks, cant name a single section that's worth of note in all honesty. The guitar phrasing is always going to be great goes without saying, overall the album is very middling and I'm sad about it.

This album was a big step up from their previous release but yeah it didn't have much staying power for some reason. I just stopped listening to it one day and haven't really thought about it since. And I actually did enjoy it a good amount on release ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It’s alright, Scott and Andrew keep it somewhat interesting

For whatever reason I'm digging this again lately, the first half of this album especially has some really memorable tracks.
