One of those semi-rare instances where Demoncore and bloc-core converge (sorry about the hyphen, doesn’t really work without it 😄)

A very enjoyable OSDM album, for sure. But in the end, this is nothing I haven't heard like a gazillion times before.

For sure, I think they know what they are about, but I will say there is some spicy stuff going on in the songwriting that will make repeat listens very rewarding.

What's up with the track volumes though? Track 1 is super loud, track 2 is like half the volume, track 3 is loud again, track 4 is quiet again?

After listening to the debut most the day today I'd prob agree I prefer the debut a bit. I no I just said yesterday this topped it LOL but nah. debut. Kicked in the protruding guts and acidic twilight visions are stronger than anything here. This is a worthy follow up tho. Strong album

butt.

Been a while since I listened to the debut but so far this is resonating with me a bit more. Really loving it. Don't remember coming coming back to the debut that often

I also prefer the debut. Something in here shows they re stepping it up though.

It's probably on a similar-ish level thus far, proper catchy meat and potatoes DM.

Sometimes I get a real kick out of similar albums and then out of nowhere they wear off, guess we'll see what additional listens reveal depth-wise.

nobody is talking about the perfect time length, just long enough to keep you interested without overstaying it's welcome

I think I like this slightly better than the debut but it's been a while since I jammed that 1

I find this one to be a lot more fun. Lesions is a banger though.

‘What's up with the track volumes though? Track 1 is super loud, track 2 is like half the volume, track 3 is loud again, track 4 is quiet again‘

Yeah this is what I’m getting, very strange. Was reaching for the volume a fair bit first time around, but it seems as though it’s just tracks 2/4 that are quieter because it gets loud again thereafter. Weird.

Rise from the Grave goes hard.

Necrobionics is the best song here.

Followed by human Chandelier, head splattered in seven ways, title track, and defiled again.

P.s Anthony fuckhead fantano gave this a 7. He gave the debut a 8. HIS OPINION IS FINAL hahaha

Rise from the Grave and Human Chandelier are my faves

didn't even know Fartardo covered DM, wasn't sure it'd be his scene (just based on the threads I've seen him mentioned in... don't really follow all that)
