if there's one "complaint" i have its that it feels more like a full fledged peggy album with some danny verses than an actual collab. not only is the production pretty overpowering but it felt like there was clearly more peggy vocals than danny on first listen

lol yeah some of the Danny entries are as if Peggy is trolling our notion of what a collab album should sound like lol, I like Danny’s entry rhythmically on LBP but god he’s so quiet. I’m often made to think Peggy is one step ahead at all times because of how often one of his ideas seems bad and then isn’t. But a couple moments are hard to incorporate even so. Really good album, easy 3.5 prob a 4. He’s just a guaranteed good time at this point

It’s $100 with shipping for me in Canada, gotta support these hoes though, and also remember anything Peggy does is without label backing (and at a high physical quality) so that’s why his merch and vinyl prices are a bit higher.
Pretty positive there’s going to be a Vol 2 of this later in the year, so keep the hype going

Am very disappointed by the new one. I hate most of the samples and I learned that I hate Danny Brown apparently. It was a really rough first listen, by the end I was dying to go back to Corn and LP. I have high hopes for his next 'real' record

art noooooo
peggy is my favorite rapper rn i think partially because he tells me what i'm gonna like as opposed to having some expectation of what I want out of him
veteran sounds nothing like cornballs which sounds nothing like lp which sounds nothing like scaring the hoes... but the very high quality of his work remains consistent
would've never guessed the new one would be so lively sounding with distinct hooks on the majority of songs. he's obviously done songs like that before (bald, puff daddy instantly come to mind) but never a whole album like that... and for all I know, whatever album he drops later in the year will probably sound radically different too

he's also my fave rapper (or in top 3 at least), I'll give it another shot for sure, I just really didn't like it. It could grow on me, but probably not. I don't enjoy Danny or the choices made here
