thats a bunk opinion animal collective have countless absolutely fantastic vocal performances in the upper echelons and this is so nooooot that and just idk feels a bit bland

This peaked after my 3rd listen and then sort of plateaued. Not quite a return to form, but definitely better than Painting With and Centipede Hz which were both subpar.

This album slays. The low average and lack of hype sucks. I really think this is up with some of their best work. Prester John through to Cherokee is a serious stretch of music. Also the general addition of Deakin vox is a total win for the band.
