Imagine thinking Iridescence isn’t their best. It is. By a long shot.

Haven’t checked this yet but caught the live stream. Loved what I heard. Much better than Ginger and probably on par with a couple of the Saturations

Hot Take: Sugar is Brockhampton’s best song and they are wayyyy more talented at writing pop songs than rap bangers

also lezbehonest, the reason they’re done making music is because their time has past. no song from this album is even gonna crack 10 mil listens on Spotify, while sugar has 300+ mil. Not that numbers are everything, but still pretty telling.

And Kevin is the only one in the group with even a moderate shot of launching a successful solo career.

zipper is the best brockhampton song and i dont rly like sugar

like u said, numbers aren't everything. in fact, i don't believe they're much period. they're having fun and putting their heart and soul in their music and it's working out pretty well for them

Brockhampton does and that’s why their career is over lol

chart success shouldn’t effect your personal enjoyment, but there’s still some info you can glean about the band. STATS are important

I think Kevin has the personality to launch a solo career, but I wouldn’t hold my breathe for the rest.

of course stats are important. im saying they're too important. and im saying they won't always be so important. : )

didn't say anything about solo careers. they're talented and passionate. humans will find new humans to make art with. ones that don't fade can prosper. besides kevin im certain joba will find success (tho he's my favorite so im biased)

Kevin has had some great solo songs and i agree with nolerthebowler he has the right personality to make it. I have heard solo tracks from Matt Champion, Dom, Joba and Bearface and imo i dont know if they can pull off a solo record the same way Kevin does, if not they follow a model like Wu Tang and let Kevin and Romil produce for them. Ameer has had some real bangers after BH tho. Glock 19 and Keep Your Distance are dope songs
