can't think of many vocalists in this genre these days doing it better than Pat

A lot of people seem to think "whiny" and "emo" are synonymous. Different strokes for different people ig [2]

Not sure how I feel about this. I think it'll be a grower for me. Doesn't quite pull me in like Feel Something did, this almost sounds like a different band. I mean, Pat is outstanding lie usual. But I guess we'll see

Dunno how I missed this review, lovely work Jesper. Loving this even more than the previous album so far; think the lyrics have improved a lot.

Top 5 album of the year for me.. I love how much Pat has improved as a singer and as a song writer on this record. Guitar tones are incredible.

This is growing on me like a motherfucker. I'm glad this came out, it's basically I the Mighty without the shitbag on vocals.

Don't have sex with random girls if you are a public figure.
Anyone can years later just say they felt forced to make you happy and you will be publicly "charged" with sexual assault.
There is a difference between being raped and having consensual sex that you regret. Fuck rapists.

yeah this is a hard 4, really appreciate the natural maturation in sound
i don’t think i have the same immediate connection i did with feel something, despite this actually being more accessible

I find it hard to believe the I the Mighty singer raped someone in 2015. I saw them live that year, hung around for an hour after the concert and met them and got a bunch of stuff signed and they were all cool and the girls obviously wanted that kind of attention and the band members just kept acting like they were there working and being good to their fans. Didn't come off as sleazy at all. Maybe this is why Bullet For My Valentine always used to shout into the mics after the last song that any women who wanted to fuck meet them at the back of their trailer. That way there's no confusion lol

There has to be a reason Blake left I the Mighty right after the first one came out. There has to be some truth to it.

“That guy can’t be a rapist, I met him and he was really nice!! And the girls all wanted it!!!!”

I just read everything, quickly mind you, and it seems like he might be physically abusive but he didn't try to rape her. They were clearly in a consensual relationship for years. The problem seems to be physical abuse from him grabbing her by the throat after she sent nudes to another bandmate and then she didn't fuck the other bandmate and he found out and then that night she was on her period and couldn't have sex. So yeah. I do believe that he grabbed her by the throat and was physically abusive.

I'm talking about women being fans and bands being nice and not hitting on them and treating them like fans and that's what women and men both want.
