Wouldn't count FtL in their pop phase (pop korn if you will) considering tracks like Seed are arguably the peak of early Korn songwriting. However the album absolutely balances it with catchiness so I understand.

Also to the user defending III, know that I consider it one of their best post-Untouchables albums and it baffles how people trash it when musically it's far from their worst and Luzier rules hard in that one.

JD has always been the factor that makes or breaks the band for most people, it seems. Shame because this band def has its merits beyond him (then again this really applies to basically any band with a singer and I have a bit of a personal crusade against it).

well, I think FtL has their two or three best pop tunes but half of it is more heavy too

I'd still say Issues is a fair bit stronger than this too

It always amazes me when artists title their works after what could describe the work itself.

"the Nothing".

Haven't listened to this band in over ten years, but found it to be a pretty nice listen overall. That's maybe more because I might've had a secret itch to scratch and listening again will demote this. So I'm just not gonna do that and leave this at a pretty 3.0. Had fun with it, moving on.
