Was gonna listen to this yesterday before work but the track listings were a lot longer than I anticipated. Will dive into this today instead.

And yeah, you gave him a nice toss-up for the dunk there, at least you're aware.

Okay, not terrible, but God is it an exhausting listen. This is begging for a good trimming off of filler.

There are highlights and I can comprehend the cathartic sort of sensation this album aims for. But it ends up feeling like a slog because of the absurd length and lack of variety between tracks, with even the climaxes mimicking each other. It's all stripped back musically so that the vocals are the main event, but after a while even the screams are monotonous despite their impressive edge.

This isn't really good especially when compared to Hole in the Heart by Ramleh which is a classic death industral record. I'm kinda baffled by the high score for this.

Her guest appearance on the last The Body record got me really interested to hear more. Can't wait to jam this one.

' I claim she isn't a great singer and actually a pretty bad vocalist '

Yeah thats where I claim you're wrong. Shes clearly a good (between good and great argue all day) classically trained vocalist. You may not like her vocals, they may do your head in but to say she's a bad vocalist is bollocks.
