How fucking good is bloodlines though for real? I love the production on this. Almost sounds like you’re just standing in a little coffee shop watching him play it

Ok yeah this is definitely my favorite Bird album I've heard, making me want to explore more of his back catalogue.

Glad we're past the point of obsessing over the cover art and are finally discussing how good this is

It kinda drops off near the end (aside from “Manifest”, maybe my favorite) but the first six tracks are all really really good stuff.

It’s decidedly top-heavy, yes, but I think it doesn’t lose enough steam to really hurt it and it ends on a high note

"Archipelago" is so Father John Misty.

Album's not quite clicking as much as I had thought it might but I still enjoy it more than the other Bird album's I've heard.

Most of this passed me by with just mild approval, but something about Cracking Codes gives me goosebumps. The second half is just amazing

it's definitely an interesting album

so slick and mainstream sounding that it seems like it should be a throwaway, but also so well-constructed that it demands attention

This is pretty sweet in its entirety to be honest. The front half it's better tho.

Grew off me ever so slightly as the year progressed and some other big releases came along but yeah this got really overlooked

This may grow on me, but on first listen I am finding this quite underwhelming.
