I like how vulnerable the lyrics (really make me feel something) but the music does nothing to me. I enjoyed reading them on genius more than I did actually listening to the record.

Beyond select few songs, I don't like pop punk much. I hoped I might love this one despite my cold feelings toward pop punk but yeah. It did not work out. It's such a shame cause it's very hard for me to find new music that I will actually love.

That's fair. If you aren't normally into pop/punk then yeah, this isn't anything really special. I think it has this sweet charm to it though that I rarely find in pop/punk these days which makes it a big standout. Would have made my list had I remembered to come back to it smh haha.
