Jake has talked about Blood Moon stuff being in the works. Not sure if it's a live album release or new stuff though

band is burning out and needs to come up with some fresh sounds or they might as well call it a day

Honestly I’d rather them play a whole bunch of old staples than watch a blood moon set as cool as it would be

The riff at the end of the last song takes this whole thing up a notch but all in all its pretty good for what it is. I've always felt like Converge uses brevity very well. Axe To Fall is one of my favorite.

I would love a release of their Blood Men sets, although it feels very unnecessary.

"band is burning out and needs to come up with some fresh sounds or they might as well call it a day"
idk about that. AWLWLB and Axe to Fall before it were both superb, and Dusk has some very solid tracks too. I think they have one of the most consistent discogs of any band, barring No Heroes and their debut.

Agreed. Wouldn't mind them trying some new stuff regarding their heavier side, but as a whole I've found their overall direction recently and their dedication to atmosphere pretty pleasing. Aging gracefully for a hardcore act.

agreed, instead of settling into a sweet spot, they've been experimenting for a while. i love their more atmospheric stuff too, like the title track on Dusk, or "Wretched World". if they were still churning out the same stuff as Jane Doe to this day i probably wouldn't be nearly as interested in them. not to say that that album isn't fantastic.

lol the band made one disappointing (still really well received) album and you got people saying they should call it a day. gtfo

Man I think No Heores is killer. Just as good as the two following it to me

It's not quite as good as AtF or AWLWLB but it for sure bangs super fucking hard and deserves more loving than it receives

I don’t think No Heroes loses me at all during its runtime. Neither do any of their albums really, except Halo and Petitioning. Dusk is the first one released since I’ve been into them that’s been slightly below what I’m used to from the band, but it still bangs tho
