Really like this, mainly because of Zach Hill's drumming.

The flow i think is a natural progression from steroids

It's unavoidable.

Though I prefer steroids (for now)

I mean they did the seamless transitions on NOTM too this isn't really new for them
Idk maybe the boys are just kinda growing off me, kinda sux seeing everyone digging this (and Steroids) while I'm just kinda indifferent to it 😐

Yeah I guess so, though it feels more progressive with more juxtaposed vibes and almost like the songs don't work as well by themselves. I really dig the more focused sound of say NOTM or NLDW.
Since jenny death there have been some moments that feel like death grips are stuck in their sound shouting over some abrasive beats.

I haven't listened to this but based on Bottomless Pit they only barely make "beats" anymore, half of the time it's just some insane fusing of five million genres at the same time and then have some shout-rap over it except for songs like 'Eh'
I felt they got a really nice groove going with Niggas On The Moon/Jenny Death but they don't seem to really know where to take it from there so they just throw everything at the wall and see what sticks, sometimes it works sometimes not so much. Not sure if this is gonna be an improvement in terms of that based on the singles. I wanted stuff like 'On GP'. 'Death Grips Is Online' is dope tho

I get what you arer saying but I’m just glad they are keeping me on my toes because lots of bands don’t do that for me. I understand why people don’t like this band/album. They/it aren’t exactly for everyone.

Bp is like their most mature cohesive album spikes ring a bell and 3 bedrooms are all amazing beats that dont really combine much of anything in fact they sound alot like tms beats

Although everyones a critic and its impossible to please someone who going in has an idea of what they want the album to sound like thus is why so many people abandoned ship after nldw because they wanted it to sound like tms

Idk I always thought the sound of the beats on Bottomless Pitt were much more lively than The Money Store's which are more fractured and digitalised.
Also yeah you're prob right, I think the group is at their best when Ride is front and center with something to say as opposed to the way he's kinda buried here and sorta not really a factor in Gov Plates.

Its true. Bottomless Pit does harken back to The Money Store only in its more simplicity and straight-forward song structures. Honestly, I only like BP more because it personally speaks to me more than Money Store which honestly has some filler tracks like The Cage and Fuck That. BP is far more solid to me, the only lesser tracks are the opener and closer to me and they're different enough with the rock instrumentation to not be filler.
