New to this band and not a big post-hardcore listener. For someone who doesn't know the band the clean vocals are pretty much their strongest point imo. Most chorusses are extremely catchy, making me re-listen this album on a daily basis. I really can't get into the hysterical screams though, which makes songs like 'bloodsucker' and 'the rattler' nearly unlistenable to me. A pity, since 'Son of Robot', 'Suspended in this Disaster', 'Care', 'Shelf Life' and 'Evaporate' are all pretty damn awsome!

For Dwellings I don't hear Donovan at all. I can see the Kurt comparison but he sounds pretty unique. I think I'll end up liking that album more than this one but that's only cuz I think I overplayed this already and Dwellings sounds fresher
Not entirely the same sound, but I'd also recommend the new Aviations album to everyone here.
