I think there's a new trend starting in the metalcore/hardcore genre of bands releasing insanely brutal albums about the destruction of humanity/planet Earth. This and Posthuman by Harm's Way are some great albums albums that have nailed that theme.

As much as I am a DR pissant, crushed production can work given every instrument remains clear in the mix. I’d love to see something like this in DR10 but at the same time, I honestly don’t see why a record this excessive would need it. “Zesty flavour” isn’t a core tenet of power violence
