I've only listened to parts of this album, but it doesn't really feel like an APC album. It feels more like a Puscifer album. Maybe he spent too long doing Puscifer music that he completely forgot how to write APC music.

The main problem is there isn't one song that I'm totally happy with throughout - all of them have the 'turn off' factor hardwired into them, a face palm moment (or ten)
I'd say the cover art is the same quality as the music within, so think that level of face palm if you're struggling to relate

To join the echo-chamber: Maynard sounds fantastic. Too bad the album is 'meh.' Every time I thought the band was about to pop-off with something crazy, it just fizzled-out like a wet fart.
