Better than Polaris, but that's not saying much. Way too much ambience for an album that's so short. With that being said though, this is definitely some of their best work. King, Juno and Smile is prime Tesseract material.

It's gonna be so damn hard for me to wait until after work to jam this, but I'm gonna try.

I've always enjoyed this band, and I am fairly alone in the camp that loved Polaris. I also love this album.

With regards to the review, it is great, but your description of djent in the beginning couple paragraphs almost makes it seem like you dislike the genre (if it can even be called that) as a whole, or at least large segments of it. Maybe you do, maybe you don't, but it almost makes what comes after seem like you are going to hate it regardless of how it sounds just because it is djent, specifically the flavor you don't enjoy.

You know, maybe he just doesn't like this style, but that should be fine for the review as long as he sustantiates his opinion. If that's the case with a review then I can take something useful out of it

Tesseract has the best production in the game. Just unreal.

Did Tesseract and Fellsilent exist at the same time? Was Acle added to the Tesseract line-up following their only album release?

I've reviewed plenty of djent albums if you're looking for a track record.

BeyondCosby - glad to hear it!

AtomicWaste - I'm not saying you had a poor review, no need to defend it! It was great. I was just saying, when reading through, you potentially alienate part of your audience before they've had a chance to read your very valid reasons. Just some constructive (hopefully) criticism.

Polaris was awesome, so based on this review, I should love this one as well. Got it.

I liked Polaris more than this as well. This might grow on me, but I don't have much motivation to listen to it again.

So maybe not.

Polaris had a couple of great songs, but this is better.

Errai however was seriously better than the original songs on Polaris.

Ultimately, I think I liked Polaris better than this one too, but that's not saying much.

I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of dads out there who just think this is the bee's knees, so... you're not wrong?
