At least Castle is still a pretty good track, but the balance between decent and horrible is just extremely uneven

haven't listened to a full album since encore and i can't think of a single reason why i should. he lost all exciting attributes a long time ago and everything new he tried doesn't stand out

The review is well written, and has many good points. That being said I actually thought this album is getting overly trashed and shat on. It's not a great album and it's HIGHLY inconsistent plus the production kind of sucks. But It's better than most reviews are giving it credit for.

not entirely sure if id say by far, because encore is also really really fucking bad. at first i thought this was worse, but the last two songs are miles better than everything on encore. still kinda wrestling around with that one but the fact that its arguably on par with encore is not a fucking compliment in the slightest

castle and arose are keeping this from a 1 atm, but the bad songs (which are most of them) are boring recovery b sides or completely unlistenable (mostly the latter). encore's bad songs at least have a comedic value to them tho, where here it's just painful.

Yeah I'm not saying you can't enjoy it, I enjoy a LOT of music that most people on this site can't stand. I'm just saying don't mind what the rest of the site thinks about the album. Try and convince people why you think it's good, if not then just enjoy it yourself!

There's at least a song or two I still enjoy off Encore, I listened to this entire album and the only things I enjoyed were the beats on a few songs and even those weren't catchy or memorable enough for me to even be able to remember and I listened to this thing maybe two hours ago.



At least his immaturity and gross out lyrics were still kind of amusing back then, now this shit just sounds ridiculous coming out of a nearly 50 year old man's mouth. Offended and Heat are so fucking cringe-worthy.

Eminem needs to mature now, he needs to take a step back and write a back to basics record as a father, former influential figure, and a middle aged man. His glory days are over, he needs to come to terms with that and write something from the heart that isn't pandering.

multiple times throughout this record I found myself picking out certain bars and wonder what the fuck was going on when he came up with it. that and when walk on water is one of the high points, you have major problems.
