"Phobia and Dear Agony are both 4's for me."
So how can you dislike this one that much? No hostility, especially considering I haven't heard it yet. Only curiosity since I 4'd both too and judging from the singles this doesn't seem to be shaping as 1.5 even though it feels totally derivative.

Geez I didn't know there were so many English majors on this site. How about y'all stop correcting every little thing he types and just read his review on this album. As far as the album goes, I personally love it. I've been a fan of this band since Saturate, and with their hiatus I was skeptical on how this one would south's. But it's typical Burnley lyrics and musically pretty much the same. I hear Dear Agony mixed in with Phobia. At the end of the day, taking into considerations surrounding Burnley's health and the lawsuit and all that, I'm completely satisfied as a consumer on this album. Well done. Oh, and I'm sure I'll get corrected on my sentence structures of this comment

I never thought I'd ever see anyone who doesn't want people to provide constructive criticism to others act that way before XP

Breaking Benjamin play it safe on their grand return, but then again, we didn't expect them nor wanted them to do anything else. They are one of the few bands in the world like Disturbed that get away with consistently deliver albums that are more of the same. While this is no where near Dear Agony it will certainly still their fanbase who want new material, but just like with Disturbed, won't win over any new fans by this point either.

I think it's a good album . I didn't really want something different so I'm pretty happy with it . Ashes of Eden is a nice song , tough it's kind of breaking the continuity of this album . It also seems like Ben continue to write the same words every album (Though I don't really care...) .
Ben's growls aren't good as before . Something went wrong with his growls IMO ( Maybe related to his health issues? ) . In the other hand , his clear vocals are great , maybe the best compared to the previous albums .

Though the way Ben pronounces 'unforgiven' in Close to Heaven reminds me a lot of Hetfield in Unforgiven pt. 2, which is just unforgiveable, pun intended
