That needle drop review was pretty solid - he's right in a lot of ways, this album is certainly flawed, but the fact that he didn't really like the awesome Dedication and WWUI92 meant there was no way he'd ever really love this.
But he said something about there not being much variation on this album which I think is just completely wrong, some of disc 2 can be a bit similar but Disc 1 is all over the place in a good way.

Fantano has never been anywhere close to being on the money when it comes to electronic music. I'm not talking about difference of opinions, but people should stick to what they know or avoid attempting to explain things beyond it being "good" or "bad"

Really? I mean it's possible, but it seems like people would care a bit more, especially since a lot of people are all over Zomby's case. But I haven't heard any complaints about this besides mine.
I was wondering if maybe the 80 min was just a rounding thing, and this is long enough to be too long, but I don't know.
It's also a triple-LP, when I think it could be just 2 (though admittedly, my knowledge on that isn't quite as good as on the CD side).

Well, the more space you save per song on vinyl means more grooves per track, which translates to higher quality, ease of sample, etc.
CDs are pretty useless these days, but I won't get into that. It's vinyl or digital for me.
