"I'm sorry honey but you don't have room to squeeze out of contradicting yourself, what with your aspirational avatar semblance to a certain "Hailey Williams", member of a certain "band" I think we all have come to know on this sight. (Sorry for the run-on sentences, a little too "Formulaic", right?) ;)"
yes, because when they have an avatar of something, it must mean that they are a fan of the musical project involved with that something. just like if a person has an avatar of katy perry's tits, they must be fan of katy perry's music and not, you know, katy perry's tits.
and stop trying to sound smart because you are anything but clever.

Seriously. Hayley Williams is hot. This album is good. Cheese is delicious. These are just facts of life, people!
Okay, maybe that second one is opinion. And so is the first one. But the 3rd one is undeniable.

Melted cheese, I might add.
But yeah, first two statements I'll give you!

I'm so tempted to 5 this despite only having one listen...

I should finally be getting my hard copy of this tonight, I got both vinyl and CD.
Extended listening may cause me to bump this up to a 5, but I doubt it. I think 4.5 is where it's going to stay.

Fair enough @Cyg. But I'm lovin' it so far.

guys check out rym's main page, the thing has been hijacked daft punk.

I disagree with the..."this album is too long" argument. An album can be 3 hours long and I would love it just as much if the quality is consistent throughout.
So you agree with the argument but disagree with it?

Contact was great...but listening to The Discovery and then this? Damn.

I don't know how to feel about this :/. I've always liked Daft Punk but I want more of their older stuff. I don't like this 70's theme.

Did not like this at first except for a couple songs. Since then I've listened to this album about 5 times fully and it's really starting to click. Album flows very well just give it full attention more than 5 minutes.

5/5 for how relaxing it is to listen to. The production is so good and the music is the type that
never fails.
I'm new to Daft Punk by the way. I think this album just rocks. Perfect for really any occasion
besides getting pumped for a game of basketball.

they had very obvious 70s/80s influence on Discovery. very obvious. this one seems to be more abrupt and deliberate, but still.

these influences were always obvious, but this is Daft Punk completely giving in to that retro aesthetic which can more or less be interpreted as a "giving life back to music" task
an appreciable approach, but RAM still sounds flat imo

Cygnatti, Necrotica
I'm not trying to save face, however, in retrospect I probably should have gone with something a little more subtle to tread the water before diving head first into the unknowable waters that is the Sputnik community message boards. Regardless, I'm new to this, and I hope we can just sum it up as water under the bridge. Whaddya say, truce?

Grooved out to this on my way to work. Will groove out to in on my way home as well. The production is so good.
Also, Game of Love is such a sexy song. At least, the instrumentation is. The vocals are good, but I wouldn't call them sexy.
