People who say they don't like live albums have clearly never heard Live After Death
|
| |
Live albums are kinda dumb if the songs are played the same as they are on the record, but they are really cool for stuff that's been reimagined or for bands that do a lot of improvisation.
|
| |
So apparently Rihanna has another fucking album already and it went to number 1 instead of Zeppelin fuck that sucks
|
| |
wtf does she have a new album every six months?
|
| |
She's had an album ever november for a few years
|
| |
just in time for xma$
|

"She's had an album ever november for a few years"
And here I thought she hadn't released an album in years.
Goes to show how much I care.

Album Rating: 4.0
we care a lot
|

The only songs I've ever heard from her are Pon De Reply or whatever and Umbrella so yeah
|
| |
"we care a lot"
We do?
|

excellent work

Might check this out.
It's funny how these guys have always been one of my favorite classic rock bands despite the fact that
well over half their discography is plagerised from other musicians. I'm not even kidding either

Yeah the plagiarism thing is not exactly news...
I was kinda disappointed when I first heard about out, no idea why, but then I just jammed their stuff some more and realised that I didn't care who they stole from. It's all great music.
|

Yeah, the music's so good that you can overlook the obvious plagiarism and just take it for what it is. Especially with songs like In My Time of Dying where they've transformed an old gospel song into a blues rock masterpiece.

I kind of had the same reaction when I first read that article. After a while I was like "who the
fuck cares". Even cartoons are built on ripping off.
|
| |
Exactly. The thing is that in almost every instance they greatly improved upon the originals.
It was cheeky of them to only credit themselves on the albums until they got called out for it, though.
|
| |
Some of the stuff they ripped off is actually worth checking out though. Taurus by Spirit is still just as beautiful as Stairway to Heaven.
|
| |
Taurus is great, agreed.
|
| |
Yeah that one was good. Most of the others I wasn't that into though (only judging from the snippets of songs on youtube videos about Zep stealing though).
