Sowingseason: I consider Damnation to be objectively better than, say, crunkcore. In my philosophy, your ratings should have SOME logic to them. If you consider, say, crunkcore among the lowest of the low, logic follows that if something by a band that is better than crunkcore is bad but not the worst, it shouldn't be rated as low as the lowest of the low, just beneath what they're normally rated. It has nothing to do with what I like or don't like. There are things I dislike that I'd never rate a one just because I dislike them.



I think a person's other ratings have everything to do with any one of their ratings. I value consistency. And while we are all, to some extent, inconsistent... Some inconsistency is way more prominent and illogical than others.



tl;dr = I like it when people don't operate off emotion.
