"Tbh, nah, I don't."

Sometimes little things like that in songs, when I hear them once, I'll always pick up on that specific voice or instrument EVERY time I hear it from then on, even if I'm trying to concentrate on a different instrument.

Or I could just be a massive spastic.

Ahhhhh, I know what you mean now. It's like when you realise someone on tv has freaky eyes. After that, you don't hear a word they say, because those eyes are so damn freaky. I'm with ya now.

Or Austin Powers talking to anyone with a mole.

Exactly, it's the aural equivalent of this:

There's one big difference. There's a reason to revisit listening to this album. There isn't any reason to hear 'Friday' again.

It's a nice little performance, I like his voice, but it does accentuate how he says "annie ootha"...

I thought the way he pronounced "heart" on this performance stood out more.

The benefit for me listening to this for the first time today is that i can compare it to the new Mayday album, and i reckon they are pretty equal, Lancaster's vocals and lyrics are very very strong.

Agreed. They sort of both take different routes, but arrive at the same destination.

Any Other Heart is so damn catchy, i am a sucker for catchy pop-punk, this band and Mayday are at the top of the list of catchy pop-punk.

That it is josh... But it's also got a whole lot of meaning behind those lyrics.

Yeah Lancaster is an incredible songwriter, my personal favorite is still One Man Drinking Games the lyrics in that and the meaning behind it, it really is a very emotional song but a fantastic song at the same time.

Yeah agreed, Do Overs And Second Chances was very good also.

Yep, a case could be made that 'Do overs...' is actually better than this, but it's always tricky comparing an EP to a LP.

Always will be, same with ALIR and TTBDF way too hard to compare because they were both so damn good, yes i am a massive fanboy of Mayday haha.

Disagree there. The most important thing with progressing to a debut LP is getting the variety right. 'ALIR' balances it perfectly, with hardly a filler track evident.

That's why those 2 were so good, because neither LP or EP had a bad song.
