Really fun album. Selling out has never sounded this good.

Love a lot of tracks on this one, but the production makes me cringe every time.

This album doesn't suck nearly as bad as I was led to believe. The In Flames riffs are still there and are great, but now they've greatly expanded upon those strange electronic effects they've had since Whoracle, and Anders decided to sing for most of the album. Songs are also a little more straightforward now, but not to the point that they're boring.

Haha I've only seen them live once, and that was in 2008 on Gigantour. I really wasn't that big into In Flames at the time, and I think I had only heard a mix of songs from The Jester Race and Whoracle, maybe Take This Life. Here was the setlist:
Cloud Connected
The Mirror's Truth
Leeches
Clayman
The Quiet Place
Transparent
Graveland
Disconnected
Move Through Me
Come Clarity
Take This Life
My Sweet Shadow
Apparently they played Graveland and I didn't even know it! I was disappointed though, at the time my favorite song by them was Moonshield .

No In Flames album is as bad as the newest one. When I heard "Sounds of a
Playground Fading" I felt like my uncle just tried to rape me. I personally like their Melodic Death Metal stuff (Jester Race and Clayman) the best. After "Clayman" they began to go downhill. I believe "Come Clarity" was a step back in the right direction but "Sense of Purpose" was another 2 steps back. Over all I was not upset with Reroute to Remain at all. It was a really good album even though the changed their sound.
