I will prove myself yet, I agree with what you said earlier, I don't know a lot about this genre or this record, and I should have spun it a few more times and took the time to write a more in depth review. Definitely should have regardless of the rating. The best way to get better at writing these reviews is to make your first handful of reviews on albums you're intimately familiar with.Knowing willie he'd probably just send a demo CD with a bottle of cologne and call it a hug Wouldn't that be better???

More than likely they'd be in that range because you're probably a lot more familiar with albums that you think are 4/5 star range than you are with albums at the opposite end of the spectrum.

I'm not trying to beat a dead horse but I read all the comments and didn't find anything about what I wanted to say. I just think that your arguments are extremely weak and at times don't make sense.
You say that the vocals are overproduced but Paul uses a vocoder...it's an effect to his voice, if you have a problem with that then specifically mention it. Also you say that the drums are overproduced sometimes which makes no sense because there is one drum production style on the album that stays consistent throughout. Lastly, you say that the guitar work in Adam's Murmur is underpar, but compared to what? Is it not catchy, does it not flow well, etc...
If you're going to call out sputnik's community and a specific reviewer you might as well have a good review to back it up.
