Only 90's album i can dig by them is this and Frost. and did someone one here really say their new albums are "gay" lol. pretty sad seeing as their new stuff is very unique in the black metal area and, while i like this album, it sounds like a good chunk of material other BM artists released before

For me Frost just gets the nod ahead of VV. But - Midgards Eldar is possibly the best song off both albums. The way the intro breaks down to a (bass?) solo before the true heaviness kicks in makes it one of the best 2nd wave Black Metal songs full stop IMO. I have VV in a double CD album with Hodanes land. That set is surely a 5/5.
