Honestly, while it's worst Baths, I'm still happy Romaplasm exists, it has a lot of great cuts

I'm happy romaplasm exists in the sense that a lot of our gays found it to be a very affirming and representative album and they deserve that

Most other gay male rep albums either chicken out by only implying gayness (just say it dammit, fuck subtly, is this 2005 still? No) or go way too ham and it sounds like RuPaul's Dragrace BS (I don't need a drag queen belting out a song about bottoms)



Romaplasm, with all of its flaws, has songs like "Out" "Human Bog" and "Yeoman" which flaunt the fact he's gay in a very normalizing, chill, relatable way



Now if only he could mix that with the musical greatness of Cerulean on whateve his 4th album will be



Perfume Genius's album Too Bright is another pretty good example too actually

Human bog is also straight up his best song since cerulean

Hmmm I really Like "No Eyes" a lot from Obisidian so idk, but Human Bog is my fave on Romaplasm

No past lives is my obsidian choice and I also really love ocean death from that ep so those 3 would be my top picks post cerulean

I'll go to some drag shows at bars occasionally, and they're fun (or I used to do this before this COVID shit) but man is RuPaul's show the most annoying, reality TV dramatic bullshit like ever. It's like MTV's The Real World and American Idol had a baby

Lol I had a hunch you hated ru Paul's drag race. None of those criticisms are wrong and ru Paul's music is some of the worst music ever created but I still love that show and think over all it's a + for the world that it has breached the mainstream. Shame about its fandom being so evil tho
