I mean Buckley was the reason Thom tried out Fake Plastic Trees in falsetto

Dude was also a big influence on Matthew Bellamy

Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you got some ratings back up!

Tbf I think this is probably one of the easiest "90's classics" to criticize, but yes it is great! I pretty much agree with a 3.5 or 4, idk, haven't heard it in a long time.

I think it's hard to rate this low with that voice of his, it just makes the record so enjoyable. However, there are a plethora of problems.

-3 of the songs on here are covers. This wouldn't be a problem but the album relies on Hallelujah quite a lot, Lilac Wine is also a fan favorite, Corpus Christi Carol also has it's fair share of fans. Again this isn't the records fault per say but I think it relies heavily on them, especially Hallelujah.

-Some of the writing on this is kind of mediocre. I love Mojo Pin but the entire 3-4:15 minutes is honestly pretty cringey, only salvageable part is the cool guitar transition and how passionate the guitar sounds when it comes back into focus around 4:15. It sounds repetitive and it's a pretty obvious flaw in the song .. it sounds to artificial in it's build up and it seems like an unnecessary step.

-Lover You Should Come Over : Oh my god this song is lolbad I can't believe people think this is his best song wtf

-So Real : idk this is kind of cool and bad at the same time, the chorus is honestly pretty bad.

Honestly some of the vocal wank on here is a bit far. I've also heard Doof say that Eternal life is "Pretty boy trying to be bad" or something like that. Valid complaint and I can see it but I love that track honestly, second best on the album for me. Last two tracks are best and somewhat underrated imo.

Also I just want to give Jeff Buckley a passionate slap across his face when Corpus Christi Carol comes up

and then make passionate love to him. But still, the song is weakish tbh.
