First 3 death albums all rule hard, don't know what you guys are saying.

I'm thinking mainly about the bookend albums of their career. don't get me wrong, SBG was great and broke huge new ground for the genre. but importance is not always exactly proportional to subjective enjoyment.



I also feel like TSOP over-extended itself. also a great album but there are lots of things I don't like about it.



Gorguts imo has been consistently above that level since day 1

nah, leprosy is better but they're both the shit. I also would put SBG and TSOP well below any other albums in either bands' discog and Erosion is the best in either discog by a comfortable margin

like to me considered and erosion are extremely solid osdm records but death is just on a whole diff level they are like the best band ever while gorguts is only one of the best bands ever

Because it is good. I've always loved the shitty album art too

well its different from other 4 gorguts album as its not as technical but if ur into osdm u'd love it.

Solo at the end of Inoculated Life is sweet too. So kickass for '91

i think its decent but Obscura through colored sands are far superior imo

from wisdom is my favorite dm ever though fuck i love it so much
