I cant decide whether I should rate this a 4.5 or 5. I keep switching back and forth. It will probably stay at 4.5 just because this album is starting to get on my nerves a little bit.

Left this alone for a while cause I was getting bored with it. Came back to it just now...

Might have to re-up the rating...

The replay value on this is crap, and it's not something you can just put on randomly, or very often. But after a few months of not listening, and in the right place at the right time, this is classic.

I just read the comments a couple pages back from when I first joined and I sound like a fucking retard lol. Cant believe I gave this a 5 after two listens. Album still rules, but not a 5 anymore. Its a little too long.

I just bought this CD and it is PHENOMINAL!!! I have never listened to doom-style metal before. This is the heaviest, lowest CD that I have ever heard and Ahab pulls it off flawlessly. The music fits perfectly to the concept this album is pulling off (Moby Dick). This music definately isn't for everybody but I love it

I felt the same way when I first heard this. It wore off after a while though. Still a decent album though.

"The only remaining question is, which genre would fit the best for an album about this story? In this case it’s funeral doom."

Haven't laughed that hard at a review in AGES.

Not a bad album at all, I could probably only listen to it so often though.

Yeah it's alright. I loved it at first and then it really grew off me. Funeral doom just isn't my thing.

Hawks, we are twins still. And that's cool. I don't think we even know who had it first, but you know. King Diamond would want us to have it the King Diamond Way. I am intrigued, I may look into this.
