They don't matter. Slayer needs something to sing about and with their music it can hardly be a sappy love ballad.

I Bought this when It was first released...It was then, and still remains a sheer bloody masterpiece. I was ( and still am) a huge metallica fan, having first got into them when lightening came out, this I bought after reading a review in kerrang. 20+ years later, I still lurve thrash/death metAL.. ESP AMON AmARTH. Slayer still rock. as do metaliica but this album is still soooo good. 6 stars. This Message Edited On 02.08.08

Look into Sodom or Destruction next then. No sense diving into the rest of the thrash scene if the most common ones don't appeal to you.
EDIT: Ok, yeah, Sodom. You like black metal a lot, and Sodom are pretty much the best blackened/thrash band IMO. Also look into Destroyer 666. Cheesey name, I know, but amazing none-the-less. Again, blackened/thrash.This Message Edited On 03.13.08

Ok thanks. I've heard of both of those bands just never had the urge to listen to them. Yeah i have the Cold Steel For An Iron Age album from Destroyer 666 and i think it rules.
