Masterfuck
I definitely get the lack of cohesion complaint, that dudes long list of influences are definitely apparent and just like it are all over the place. It's still pretty good though but I think some actual songwriting structure would benefit them.

Can somebody with srs production nous enlighten me regarding the production on this? Specifically as to whether we're talking, uh, false lo-fi(?) here? Like we've achieved these sounds almost exclusively using plug-ins?
I love what they're shooting for and think it's properly ambitious and decently realised, but it's kinda not sticking for me. Hearing near-dry guitar tones and vocals after the crushed and clipped milieu feels odd to me, amongst other things.
I'll definitely pass this album around to people I think it might tickle though, big respect
