Can y’all rec me bands that are black metal but blend with other genres, like this. Always looking for more bands that give me that creative vibe like Kayo Dot. A variety of instruments (love me strings and brass) and a sound that has black metal (or other extreme metal) but melds other genres. I dunno, now I’m ramblin’. Thanks for sharing this album, I’m very happy

That's the thing though, they incorporate the violin and sax so naturally that I find it's far from scattered. The only thing potentially out of place are the vocals, but even then they're an effective fit for the theme and atmosphere.

I actually busted out laughing at the vocals/lyrics at one point. Comically dramatic. However, it's nice that I can understand (most of) them, that's a plus.

tbh extreme/experimental sides of metal are kinda known for their dramatic leanings and vocal choices, that's nothing out of the ordinary.
