"Dottie's ending is so abrupt yeah, arguably the best section on the entire album and it just... stops. That's probably my only complaint with this tho"
I have this same complaint with the middle section of Dissembler; ending is cool but it just totally interrupts my favorite part of the song

if they play it live it won’t go on forever so I understand the choices
it gets to me more than dottie on dissembler

Man I've been looking forward to this ever since The Great Dismal dropped. Felt it could be an excellent companion piece. Not to diminish this release by saying that. They are both great. Cloakroom are always unique.
Great review!

I need to check this out. I really liked time well and all their other albums. I think they are the best band out of this group of shoegaze rockers. Nothing are second to me, more commercially succesfull but less interesting.
